Rotary Club of Great Barrington

Bulletin for August 10, 2016

Current Membership: 56 members

Last Week: We heard from Ian Bidford, Provost of Simon’s Rock. Ian spoke about many ways the college is working to improve lives of students and to be a more visible and active part of our community.

This Week’s Program:   Lisa Chamberlain of the Chamberlain Group, Bringing the practice to the practice of medicine.

The Bike-N-Fly:  Please remember to sell your drone Bombing tickets and PLEASE don’t lose them. Louann is hoping to have them sold by August 17th, so she will know how big to make the grid.
We need volunteers to donate peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches, Cliff Bars, water, bananas and Ice coolers. If you bring a cooler, please put your name on it. We also need two more intersection volunteers.

Book drive: There will be a new Book House installed at Christian Hill Commons for children. Please bring easy reading books for children aged 4 to 6 years old.

Rotary Inventory: We would like to get an inventory of things that belong to the Rotary Club. If you are storing things at your home or business, please let me know. I will put together a list so, everyone knows what we have and where it is.

Club Assembly: Please think about your committee assignments.  My fellow Rotarians, ask not what your club can do for you — ask what you can do for your club.

People's Pantry:  Canned Beans.
