Hello Everyone,

REMINDER:  No meeting at Crissey Farm this week!  We will be meeting at Camp Hi-Rock at 6:00pm to induct John Benedict as President for 2016/2017.  Families are welcome!  Please bring a side, salad or dessert.  If you prefer to drink something stronger than lemonade, bring that too!  To help the camp plan the numbers, please email Jessica at executive@camphirock.org to let her know if you are coming and if you are bringing guests.

Last Week:  We heard from Fred and Sally Harris concerning the progress of Saint James Place – a Place for the Arts.  For more information about the project, go to www.saintjamesplace.us.

Odille and Sally:  I will bring the “hat” for Sally and Odille to Camp Hi-Rock.  If you haven’t been able to contribute, now would be the time.  As a reminder, we only pass the hat twice a year.  Please remember that they  serve us lunch approximately 26 times in that period.  Please consider what you would typically tip for a lunch, and donate accordingly.

Golf Tournament:  Preparations for the Golf Tournament are well underway.  Restaurant Raffle tickets will be for sale shortly!

People’s Pantry:  No collection for this week  - Rice for next week.

And from the Rotary Foundation:

OUR ROTARY YEAR IS ALMOST OVER, BUT THE CONTINUING MISSION OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION NEVER ENDS.  FOR YOU SEE, THE PROGRAMS OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION ARE FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE NEEDS - EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS, COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, AND VARIOUS SELF-HELP PROGRAMS - ALL TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION PROGRAMS AND ALLOWING “THE GOOD WORK” OF ROTARY TO GO FORWARD!

Thank you,

Susan
