Hello Everyone,
Last Week: Our district governor Frank Wargo spoke about the importance of being a Rotarian with inspirational stories of the good that comes from everyone's work.
It was also a special day for Mary White as she earned a Paul Harris award for all her hard work and devotion to our club. It was great to see so many people there to support and honor Mary.
This Week’s Program: Breaking news! Our scheduled speaker will not be able to attend. We are working on a replacement on short notice. A surprise guest will be great!
Linda Day will honor more members of our club with Paul Harris awards.
Breaking Bread: It’s not too late to sign up for Thursday’s Breaking Bread. See Oskar Hallig if you can help.
Book drive: Please remember to bring children's books for the book house.
YEX: Please remember our exchange student Irene, She is a very nice and respectful kid. Please invite her to your home or take her to a show. You will have a chance to meet her at this week’s meeting and also at Breaking Bread on Thursday.
District News: Are you new to Rotary? Are you new to the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI)? Your chance to sign up for RLI Part I is at hand.
If you are a past RLIer, you have the opportunity to take your next part: Part II or Part III ….. or a Graduate session (RLI Graduates can take as many Graduate Sessions as they like –they change every year. This year Public Speaking is the Graduate topic.)
