Bulletin for July 13, 2013
Dear Club,
I would like to thank Susan Smith once again for filling in for me last week. I’m just now realizing all the work she did last year. I had a great vacation in Colombia with my family and I’m ready to work hard this year and do my best to help lead our club.

Last Week: The club learned about the Southern Berkshire Ambulance Squad. I’m looking forward to hearing what I missed and how we can help.
This Week’s Program: Our guest speaker will be Hope Sullivan, Executive Director of IS183 Art School. I know they have a great ceramics program and I’m looking forward to hearing about all the other classes they offer.
The "Drive for Scholarships" Golf Tournament is Thursday, July 21st and we have a full course! Scott will be in touch with the Rotarians who have volunteered to help on the day of the Tournament. Cheryl is also contacting those who will be assisting on the porch during registration.
I will have restaurant raffle tickets at Rotary again this week for those who would like to sell them. If you won't be at Rotary, but would like to participate in the selling, please let me know and I will deliver the tickets to you. All stubs and money need to be at the golf tournament by noon on the 21st as we will be drawing the two winners at lunch.
Sunday afternoon I sent an email asking if you would like to be part of the "Circle of Friends" by making a contribution that would go for scholarships 100%. All the pieces that make up the "Drive for Scholarships" (business sponsorships, restaurant raffle, Circle of Friends, games on the course and bucket raffle at the Tournament) help to bring in our targeted funds. The Committee is most appreciative of the many ways you offer support. Thank you! Barbara
Board Meeting: The board will meet tonight at Ed McCormick’s office. 5:15 pm.
People's Pantry: Pasta Sauce for this week.
