Bulletin for September 21, 2016
Last Week: We had a last minute schedule change, so we learned a little bit about the history of Sheffield Pottery and the ceramics industry.
Membership News: Linda Day announced two more Paul Harris recipients, Janet Dohoney and Mary Ann Norris. Congratulations to both and thanks for all you do.
This Week’s Program: Tracie Beasley from The Trustees of the Reservations will be our guest speaker.
Breaking Bread: Thank you Oskar for heading up the meal again. If you signed up to help, we will see you Thursday. If you want to help, please contact Oskar or just show up at the American Legion Hall in Sheffield.
Book drive: Please remember to bring children's books for the book house. This is a good project. I see kids using these book houses all over the county.
YEX: Irene will be traveling to Boxford, MA for orientation with other exchange students on October 1st and 2nd. She will also be at Breaking Bread this week. If you see her, please introduce yourself and get to know her. Irene’s english is very good and she is very friendly.
Interact Club: Scott Rote and Angela Spita will meet with students this week at Mt. Everett to give information about Interact and Rotary. Hopefully this club will grow into future members of our club.
